Recently doing some searching on the net for great tools for marketing, I ran across hashtags.org. This website is a hashtag search engine with graphs to show you trends on specific hashtags. It has a few suggestions that may prove to be somewhat helpful depending on your market.
Many handmade artists from Etsy, Zibbet and Artfire, use hashtags familiar to the circles they market in.
After some research, I realized that the tags we are using are only reaching a very minoot audience and missing the bigger hunk of tweeters. I have put together a list of this weeks trends to give you an idea on what are some of the better hashtags to use in your tweeting:

You may want to try to keep it relevant. Think of the hashtags as keywords. So if you sell handmade jewelry, don't tweet #movies but maybe #blue instead. We love our special little hash tags for our groups like #ibhandmade, (which is one we created) but realize if you tag it to market to other handmade jewelry artisans, you may be marketing your brand to the wrong crowd.
